Activity Features
Our Gardening Club takes place in the summer term. One afternoon per week for four weeks. Run by our Gardening enthusiast Joan our children can experience planting seeds and plants alongside their grown up. All plants get to be taken home where they can be enjoyed by the whole family.
Running throughout each week’s theme is the need to nurture plants and the science behind them. The children will care for and raise their own plants watching them grow and enjoying their benefits aesthetically and for food.

Sunflowers are always a favourite with our children who love to watch them grow first in the small pot and then grow really tall once replanted. We always enjoy hearing about how well the plants are growing and our children’s understanding of their growth cycle.
